1988 Battaglin World Champion ’87. Columbus SLX tubing with number plate hanger. The same model Steven Roche rode to win the Tour, Giro, and World Championship in 1987. 57x57cm. (Sorry, no longer available.)
Our Battaglin was shipped to Switzerland to be to be outfitted for Erich Machler. Machler won Milan-San Remo in 1987 riding a Battaglin for the Carrera team. He wore the yellow jersey in the 1987 Tour de France for six days. Machler’s team-mate Steven Roche won the Tour that year. 1992 Comotion Espresso. Glenn rode this frame with a Campy gruppo for several years. Warren bought the frame, had it painted a dark purple, and brought it back to us for Marc to build as a fixie.
